Caring Solutions is the leading provider of home care in Connecticut. We strive to ensure a better quality of life for elderly clients and their families by providing dependable and affordable live-in home care, companion home care, homemakers services, and respite home care for the elderly or homebound in Connecticut.
What is Home Care?
More than 7.6 million Americans receive home care, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The number is much greater when you consider that it does not include informal care which is care given by a friend or family member. Home care is generally defined as non – medical support services delivered at the home of a senior. The aim of home care is to allow seniors to remain at home longer rather than enter an assisted living community, or nursing home. Home care is appropriate if the person prefers to stay at home but needs minor assistance with activities of daily living.
Activities of daily living include bathing, dressing, and meal preparation but may also extend to assistance with transportation, paying bills, making appointments, and simply being there to provide companionship and emotional support. Home care services are generally available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be paid for directly by the client or through a variety of public and private funding sources such a Medicare and / or Medicaid and Long term care insurance.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING ABOUT US.
"I just wanted you to know how successfully Karen has handled my mother’s caregiving. She is always dependable, kind and considerate. She is able to help get things done without ruffling feathers --- a very important skill.
My mother looks forward to her coming each day and tells me all about their visits. She has lifted my burden and I am most grateful; Karen embodies the true spirit of caregiving. You should be proud that she is your employee. Thank you for sending us this answer to our prayers” - (G.Mc C.) |
